ABU DHABI: Seven-year-old Pakistani girl won a gold medal at the International Jiu-Jitsu Competition 2022 in Abu Dhabi.
The youngest Jiu-Jitsu player Anayah Naveed Dar represented Pakistan in the under 28 weight category and bagged a gold medal.
Pakistan’s Anayah defeated Russian player Latifa in the first match. Later, she defeated Shamsa of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the second match.
Apart from being a gold medallist in Jiu-Jitsu, Anayah is also the youngest MMA fighter and Horse Show Jumper.
She expressed her pleasure on her Instagram handle stating, “Today I have won for Pakistan on the international platform and have become the Youngest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Player and MMA Fighter of Pakistan by bagging a gold medal in the under 28 weight category at the International Jiu-Jitsu Festival 2022 in Abu Dhabi.”
Thanked almighty in the caption and further quoted, “All my hard work has paid off and the dream to represent Pakistan, on an international platform through my MMA and Jiu-Jitsu has been fulfilled today! All my victories are dedicated to my country, Pakistan!
