HADERA, ISRAEL: The terrorist organization “ISIS” (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) claimed responsibility for attacks in the town of Hadera in the occupied Palestinian territories on Sunday evening, in which two police officers were killed and 10 Israelis were wounded, while the attackers were shot and killed on the spot.
According to Israeli media, gunmen from the Wadi Ara area attacked police officers and other Israelis with automatic weapons, killed two, and wounded 10, however, two of whom are in serious condition.
“The two attackers were armed with pistols, and they struck police officers with bullets, and they took their M16 rifles, and they continued to carry out the operation with the police’s machine guns,” according to the police inquiry.
Meanwhile, two gunmen were seen on CCTV camera, shooting in “Herbert Samuel” Street.
According to Alon Ben-David, an Israeli military journalist, the attackers opened fire on Israeli cops, killing at least one of them, stealing his weapon, and continuing the operation.
Meanwhile, the operation comes less than a week after a terrorist incident in Beersheba that killed four Israelis and injured dozens more.
It also coincides with the historic Negev summit, which will bring together the foreign ministers of four Arab countries, as well as the US Secretary of State.
