Karachi: An exhibition of the calligraphic works of seniors and young artists was held at Live Rostrum Exhibition Place here on Wednesday. The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned artist and philanthropist Jimmy Engineer. This exhibition continues till 15 March.
The exhibition has the works of senior artists Chitra Pritam, Javed Qamar, Saudi-based artist Saobia A, Tariq Hussain, Aliya Faizi, and others. Beautiful wooden calligraphic work of Iranian artists was also displayed in the exhibition.




The founder of the Live Rostrum Exhibition Place, Mirza Shahnawaz Agha, said that Islamic calligraphy was the most beautiful art. Quranic verses and written letters incite the emotions of the viewers and it shows the dedication, belief, and love of the artist to his work.
Many art lovers from the town visited the exhibition and praised the artists’ work.
