LAHORE: Pakistan captain Babar Azam, reserve wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed, and paver Naseem Shah are set to join the Test squad from February 23 in Rawalpindi ahead of the Australia tour.
The Aussies are set to arrive in Pakistan on February 27 to play three Tests, the same number of ODIs, and a T20I in Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.
The trio, who were part of Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators, will undergo only one day of quarantine before joining the side.
A training camp for the Test squad is already underway in Karachi and it is set to conclude on February 22 before moving to Rawalpindi, the venue for the first Test.
Meanwhile, players part of the Test squad who are currently involved in HBL PSL 7, regardless of the results of their teams in playoffs, they will stay in the bubble till the conclusion of the tournament on February 27.
They will directly go to Islamabad and will join the bio bubble set up for the Australia series.
