Bid of money laundering to Dubai failed

LAHORE: Security personnel deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport has made a foreign currency laundering bid fail and took 3 people into custody on Thursday.

Spokesman of Airport Security Force A(ASF) said a passenger Imran Irshad reached the airport with 2 others among which one was in the wheelchair.

Staff during the scan process suspected Dubai-bound flights passengers’ wheel chair and begs.

During the physical search, US$84,000 along with local currency was recovered, which was hidden in a very expert way, the spokesman added.

He added, recovers dollars are equal to 147 million in local currency. All 3 passengers were handed over to the customs department for further legal action.
