DUBAI: Part-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid is all set to co-host Netflix’s ‘Next in Fashion’ season 2 along with Tan France.
The most-paid model is a sister of Bella Hadid tweeted the news, “So excited…thank you.”
Tan France,38, who is best known for starring in the Netflix series ‘Queer Eye’ has also welcomed Gigi to the show.
Next in fashion official, Twitter account said, “Next in Fashion is coming back and this season, Tan France’s co-host will be the iconic Gigi Hadid!”
“Netflix is casting designers now for season 2. I know there are many designers out there that deserve a platform like this. Second-guessing yourself? Please just go for it. This is your sign and your chance. Show us your creations,” Top-notch model post-Instagram story.
The second season does not have a release date yet, but casting is now open for designers to apply for a chance to participate in the competition.
Gigi is one of the world’s best-paid models but the catwalk star previously revealed that she likes to remain reticent about what she’s asked to wear for work.
She said: “It’s not my job to have an opinion on what I’m wearing on set.
“It’s my job to wear what I wear and have enough of a photographic mind to understand how to make that piece look good, merchantable, and give the feeling that is wanted by the creative team.”
Gigi is also cautious about what she says in public.
The model who has more than 70 million followers on Instagram explained, “You learn the hard way to be really careful with your words.”
