LAHORE: Police claims to have arrested on Wednesday the main suspect behind the murder of a journalist killed on Monday.
Police said the suspect Amir Butt was detained from Jail Road.
Earlier, Lahore police DIG-Operations told the media that three suspects were involved in the journalist’s assassination near Lahore Press Club two days back. A special team was sent to Islamabad to arrest Amir Butt, he added.
Local media had reported that Husnain Shah was murdered by serial killers.
Husnain Shah, associated with a local tv channel, was shot dead when he was driving his car from office to the press club.
