KARACHI: On the book launch ceremony Kazim Saeed the well-known author congratulates Mirza Shahnawaz Agha for his book CURRENT COLONICLE which talks about the “basic reform packages of Pakistan”.
He added that agriculture is a sector that has a great economic potential and can contribute massively to poverty reduction usually considered as a backwater by decision makers and thinkers but it effects the potential growth as a whole, He also emphasized on the production of crops that are far below the best of the world and also not competing with the global average. For the betterment of agriculture in country it’s not required high-fy plants but only require billions of rupees instead of billions of dollars.
Kazim Saeed also highlighted that our economy can contribute the most to poverty reduction that are education health and agriculture, that are also the mainstream market of Pakistan. He pointed out that education sector will be highly contributed to the poverty reduction and by means of education it’s university education that create professionals which a developed country needed the most. He said that unfortunately “we don’t have student loan regime, the student loan lower down the burden on public sector which can primarily focus on education.
