Corona Task Force took strict decisions on Saturday as Covid 19 cases is rising in the province especially in Karachi, but schools and other educational institutions will remain open. Use of mask declared necessary in public places and govt office. Marriage halls distribute meal in boxes, non-vaccinated people not allowed in the markets and also gear up the vaccination drive all over the province.
Meeting of Corona Task Force held at Chief Minister House, CM Syed Murad Ali Shah presided the meeting. He directed to conduct a survey of all govt and private hospitals for checking the remaining capacity and other required items.
CM said, govt officials will face penalty on the violation for not wearing mask, one day salary cut also suggested. Wearing mask is necessary for marriage halls, markets and other public places as marriage halls also directed to distribute meal in boxes, only vaccinated citizens allowed in markets, market associations are bound to check vaccination card, CM added.
Murad also directed to boost up vaccination drive and strictly implement the SOPs as he said, increase in covid cases cause of carelessness. If people cooperate so will remaining corona wave will also be controlled.
CTS also decided to monitor restaurants and action will be taking against those who won’t follow the SOPs.
Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah said, more decisions will be taken after reviewing the situation in next meeting few days later.
