Changes in Covid protocol for domestic flights in Pakistan


National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has changed the Covid 19 protocol for domestic flights and intercity public transport all over Pakistan on Saturday.

NCOC banned the airlines, operating domestic flights, and intercity buses not to provide meal and snakes to passengers during travel.

Ban will be implemented from January 17, 2020 on Monday, NCOC took the decision as of increase in covid 19 cases all over the country reported, a press release said.

Percentage of covid 19 cases raises more then double since last week due to cold weather.

Officials said, health facilities receiving thousands of new cases since last week as omicron variant is also spreading rapidly.
