Mutahida Quami Movement Pakistan rejected the new delimitations for upcoming local bodies elections by charging partiality on Pakistan People’s Party for political benefits.
During a press conference at MQM Head Quarters on Tuesday, Deputy Convener MQM, Kunwar Naveed Jameel said, delimitations are unjustified as it shows male intentions of Sindh Govt.
Jameel said, “People’s party always wanted to occupy Karachi, but could succeeded. We will go to court as well as stop the delimitations made on the bases of ethnicity.”
According to law population of all union committees and towns should be equal, but Sindh Govt has become blinded by the intoxication of power so they made new towns on the bases of unquilted population, which is unacceptable, Jameel added.
Jameel told the media, Karachiets had rejected the suggestion of new province during General Yahya rule, but in-return fanatic Sindh Govt of People’s party expresses hate and injustice for them.
