The Islamabad High Court dismissed a petition for disqualification of Prime Minister, Imran Khan on Tuesday.
Petition was filed by a citizen, seeking to declare Imran Khan disqualify of the National Assembly membership.
The petitioner, Fidaullah, maintained in the plea that Prime Minister said during the Senate election that 16 members of the National Assembly were sold and Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed confirmed the statement by the Primer, saying that no action can be taken against these MNAs.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Athar Minallah dismissed Fidullah’s petition, declaring it non-maintainable. And directed the petitioner to ask an MNA from his constituency to file a petition like this.
